Almost everyone loves movies, and going for a walk to the cinema theater on the weekend is always fun. If you are a designer, you would also be fond of watching movie posters artworks displayed on every corners of the theater. What makes it a kick-ass movie poster? Why they appear astonish in some sort of?
A Movie poster is actually made to support marketing campaign during the build up to its release. Every design aspect needs to be handled in creative manners for this campaign. A movie poster always looks stunning in particular, as it should be able to deliver the story behind the movie. The design concept often highlights its ultimate scene-shot graphic to show a bit of drama. Movie characters, typography and graphics are key elements composed into amazing teaser design using graphic effects that outlines exactly what the movie is about.

The Descent is a straight rip off of an image originally created by Salvador Dali. It also appears in on the back of the moth in Jodi Foster’s mouth on the Silence of the Lambs poster.
