CrossSlide is an alternative way to present slide show that animates pictures using jQuery plugin instead of conventional Flash. Fully tested on major browsers, it relies on the browser for positioning, scaling and cropping images, through CSS and the DOM. Accordingly it is depended mainly on how the browser and the underlying graphics platform optimize these operations.
CrossSlide has several picture effect features, they are:
* Slide + cross-fade – to get this first kind of effect you must specify the motion speed and the duration of the cross-fade between images, plus the direction in which each image should be moving.
* Static cross-fade – pretty simple effect, where the sleep parameter has taken the place of speed, as there can be no speed in an image that’s not moving. Fade FX is still expressed in seconds and is additional to the sleep time.
* Ken Burns effect – a full visual power as this FX allows you to pan, zoom in and fade the images to specific points, to guide the eye of the viewer.
You can download this cool CrossSlide jQuery plugin at the source page and read the instruction to set different effects of slide show that you’d like the most.
