Another great work of style scripting that came from CVI-lab. Introducing slided.js 1.3, an unobtrusive set of Javascript to add slide frames and shadow to images on your webpages.
To get an aspect ratio of 1:1 the larger picture dimension than the minimum picture dimension (80x80px) will define the width and height. Therefor the needed space of the canvas element will grow if the aspect ratio of the picture doesn't fit 1:1. Whenever you have uneven aspect ratio picture dimension, the frame border will persistent in 1:1 aspect ratio so it should produce interesting slide frame effect
Initialization class to execute image effect is "slided". For example: to set frame color, the class should be written: "slided ibgcolorXXXXXX"
Classes made for custom styles are:
* frame colors class: "ibgcolorXXXXXX"
* gradient directions class: "igradientXXXXXX" (no gradient, diagonally, horizontal and vertical)
* shading opacity class: "ishade" - min=0 max=100 default=50 (in percent)
* shadow opacity class "ishadow" - min=0 max=100 default=40 (in percent)
* noshadow class "noshadow" - default=false
* nocircles class "nocircles" - default=false ( to vary the decoration of circles at the corners of frame)
* text color class "itxtcol" - min=000000 max=ffffff default=000000 (to vary the annotation text by the desired color as hex)
* text selection class "itxtalt" (to get the text from alt attribute)
* text selection class "itxttitle" (the text from title attribute)
Note that Slided.js 1.3 has been supported by all major browsers and doesn't require additional server work. Gotta be a fantastic alternative to present your image gallery or avatars. Check it out!
