The contrast is checked by the value given on Luminosity Constrast Ratio (WCAG 2.0) and Colour brigthness (WCAG 1.0) ratios. There are some formulas to figure from this tool before you can set the perfect luminosity constrast scale value for the text, diagram and their background. The color brightness differences are also set based on spesific color range value for the purpose.

Pictaculous is a color tool that allows you to get a color palette right after you upload an image.
The color palette will be consist of 5 colors which are taken from your uploaded graphics, complete with its hexa code for each color. It handles PNG, GIF, JPG image file format and your file cannot be larger than 500kb.

This color palette generator is so simple, but quite helpful. There are also two other well known color community websites that will suggest you some alternatives of color schemes. They are Adobe Kuler and COLOURlovers. Once you’re done, you can download the Adobe Swatch File, share it on some social bookmark sites or share by email.

Color Picker is a simple jQuery plugin to select color. It has the same interface just like select color feature in Adobe Photoshop. You can set this color preview in flat mode, which works as an element in a page, or customize it so you can have the color preview after a toogle button is clicked. The color picker will slide or animate with certain callback functions.
